Singer’s Guide for Teens – Day 7

Introduction

You made it — 7 days of dedicated practice, growth, and discovery! That’s no small feat.

Whether you’re just beginning your journey or refining your skills, the progress you’ve made this week matters. 🎶👏

Today’s about celebrating that progress and preparing for what comes next.

Now you can practice this exercise again! This unguided version of “Singing Slide” will accompany you along the way.

As before, this video offers both High Voice and Low Voice options.

🔁 Today’s Focus: Unguided Practice & Looking Ahead

Welcome to the unguided exercise for the “Singing Slide.”

You’ll revisit the vocal exercise from Day 6—but this time, in a slightly different way.

That means you’re in the driver’s seat: no cues, no instructions, just you using what you’ve learned to guide your own practice. 💪

This is how singers grow: by building the confidence to lead their own voice.

Quick reminders:

  • Go right to the NG sound and do your best to hold that sound.
  • The tongue can come down in the back, which opens up the sound. Focus on holding it up.
  • You should sound muted (like an open mouth hum) once you arrive to the NG sound at the end of the word SING.

Happy practicing!

I’ve had so much fun using V360. I use it everyday! Each video is short and builds on the previous lesson. Highly recommend V360 to both parents and their kids!
